Organised by the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) in Sri Lanka, Ramp up 2023 was a fashion show that took place on October 8, 2023 at the Colombo Hilton. The event had two main objectives: to raise funds for women entrepreneurship development programmes for female owned micro and SME businesses, and to create awareness and exposure for the WCIC as a platform that celebrates the women of our society in their fullest glory. The show was a dazzling display of eight fashion segments from reputed designers, modelled by 80 well-known personalities from different professions, business establishments and WCIC members. The choreography of the event was done by the famous fashion director and designer, Lou Ching Wong.
